Entandem on behalf of RE:SOUND and SOCAN, in collaboration with FSAC, have entered into an agreement that reflects the needs, usage and realities of FSAC members.  Member businesses that are affiliated with FSAC will pay discounted rates for the use of music at their facilities.  Just one easy annual payment for all your music licensing needs!

Entandem is a joint venture between RE:SOUND and SOCAN, created to simplify the licensing process so you can play all the music you want in your business legally and ethically, ensuring that those who made the music are compensated.

Your annual license fee will cover you for background music, telephone music on hold as well as internet and online streaming of virtual events when music is played during the event.

 

What is RE:SOUND?

RE:SOUND is the Canadian not-for-profit music licensing company dedicated to obtaining fair compensation for performing artists and record companies for their performance rights for recorded music. RE:SOUND licenses businesses and distributes royalties to creators to help build a thriving and sustainable music industry in Canada. Re:Sound’s tariffs are certified by the Copyright Board of Canada.

What is SOCAN?

The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) is a Canadian performance rights organization that represents the performing rights of more than 135,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers and collects license fees on their behalf. SOCAN’s tariffs are certified by the Copyright Board of Canada.

On behalf of its members, FSAC negotiated a reduced rate for music licensing.
